In Rotation Group Exhibition
Augsburg University
Christiansen Gallery
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 23, 7:30 PM
September 21–December 8
In Rotation is an invitation to slow down and observe the movements happening around and within oneself over the course of a year. Participating artists dedicated a sketchbook for a one-year exploration of these shifts: the micro and macro movements in the everyday from the rhythmic patterns of physical bodies, to the subtle changes in perspectives, to the constant celestial rotations that move the very earth where we stand.
The pandemic brought a disruption to the movement in our lives; it varied from slowing down to the point of isolation to speeding up to the point of burn out. This project is an invitation to observe and be aware of these movements in order to calibrate and connect as we continue to rotate together.

Drift Group Exhibition
Silverwood Park
Opening Reception: Thursday, October 12, 6-8 PM
October 12–December 17, 2023
Kiera Faber and I will be exhibiting one of our fiber art collaborations in Drift, a group exhibition juried by Tessa Beck.
The word "drift" evokes a sense of being untethered, pliable – carried without guidance or control. It’s a reminder of our vulnerability in the face of a changing climate, and the unknowability that marks the course of our lives. Yet, within this vulnerability lies the capacity for adaptation, change, and intervention. Using the term “drift” as the prompt to build this open-call exhibition resulted in a multitude of interpretations that remind us of our interconnected nature and prompts us to reshape our trajectory in order to better coexist with our environment and one another.
