Works on Paper
Drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media works on paper provide a space for experimentation, observation, and discovery within my practice. These works often begin intuitively, allowing color, shape, mark-making, and composition to emerge through a process of curiosity and response.
Many of these pieces explore themes that continue throughout my broader body of work: memory, vulnerability, connection, and our relationship to the natural world. Fragments, layered imagery, and shifting forms create visual conversations between the familiar and the imagined.
Working on paper allows me to move quickly between ideas while embracing uncertainty and play. The resulting works often function as both independent pieces and companions to my textile, installation, and video practices.
