Every artist's path is different. As a practicing artist, educator, and arts administrator, I help artists clarify goals, navigate opportunities, and develop sustainable creative practices through one-on-one consultations and practical planning.
Whether you are emerging, mid-career, or returning to your creative work after time away, I can help you identify practical next steps. If you're applying for grants, planning a project, building your career, or trying to figure out your next step, I will offer practical support, thoughtful questions, and resources tailored to your goals. Who I work best withI enjoy working with artists who are navigating transitions, building sustainable creative careers, balancing multiple roles, applying for grants, developing new projects, or seeking greater clarity and direction in their practice. I jive well with artists who have an open-mind, who come with a set of questions and curiousities, along with wanting to do homework after our meeting.

Testimonials
I love how Jes is in my corner -- as a strategist, emotional support, problem solver, etc. Jes really makes it about helping me progress on my journey as a working artist and business person. Jes was outstanding, and I'm so grateful for our time talking through this year's challenges!
Helping me to move from dreaming phase of a project towards goals and phases and steps to get there as well...very engaging and supportive and a wonderful guide and resource.
Jes allowed me to bring my agenda to the session, so that I could get the information I was most in need of. The fact that she was zooming from her studio meant she could show me examples of her own work.
Jes is a wealth of knowledge. I felt very heard. It was easy to converse. And they pointed me towards some helpful resources I'm now engaging with. I look forward to chatting more with Jes.
Talking with Jes helped me think fresh - about my creative work and through some stuck-ness. Jes shared thoughtful reflections and insights. Being in our session was being in a space of possibility. Who's work/life/spirit doesn't need that?!
